contemporary dance co-author/composition/music production

Mirada is a multimedia performance whose aim is to suggest new ways for the audience to contemplate the presence of a body in space, proposing an ultra-dynamic perspective: extremely distant from the performer, yet extremely close to a technology that amplifies their presence. How can one experience digital proximity in physical space? How can technology enhance the perception of a landscape without diminishing it?

Mirada is the gaze towards infinity and simultaneously the imperfect eye, the magnified detail. Mirada is conceived as a collective exercise for an omniscient and enhanced vision, experimenting with a dual pleasure in simultaneity: that of proximity and delving into detail, and that which arises from the comfort of distance, from the feeling of control over an event and the panorama that encompasses it.

Going beyond a postcard view, the landscape is the frame in which it is possible to rethink the perception of time and distance, and the action of bodies and elements within it. Through a play of screens and distances, the viewer chooses the mode of perception of the work. In this way, the position of the performer and the audience is in absolute horizontality.
