Edoardo Sansonne is a producer, singer, and composer of electronic music. His first release under the pseudonym Kawabate was in 2020 with the track "Epicentro" in Mutants Mixtape Vol. 2 alongside Arca and other artists worldwide. He is also a researcher and composer for sound installations, video art, theater, and contemporary dance performances. 


In Europe and the USA, he has studied singing, attending workshops and courses with masters such as Elise Witt, Oskar Boldre, Anita Daulne (Zap Mama), Nico Note, and overtone singing with Alash Ensemble and Agnese Banti.

He has collaborated with musician Alberto Ricca/Bienoise, musician and performer Karima 2G, choreographer Irene Russolillo, dancer and choreographer Elisa Sbaragli, multimedia artist Fabio Brusadin, multimedia artists Luca Brinchi and Daniele Spanò, Mauro Pace, and many others.

In the past year, he has worked on international productions such as If There Is No Sun (Irene Russolillo, Karima 2G, Luca Brinchi), a project created between Italy and Senegal. In 2024, he debuted as a performer in "Fàtico" by Irene Russolillo. In the same year, he worked on "Fatigue," an Italian-Armenian production with Irene Russolillo, and the creation of the "Se domani" dance piece by Elisa Sbaragli, presented at the NID platform in 2024.
